PURPOSE:To reduce a change of the holding characteristics due to the adsorption of a hydrophobic substance by a column packed with a packing agent by introducing polyamine into the silanol groups on the inner and outer surfaces of a porous fine globule based on silica through an alkyl chain equal to or higher than an ethyl group and reacting 1, 3-propane sultone with the primary amino group in said polyamine. CONSTITUTION:Polyamine is introduced into the silanol groups on the inner and outer surfaces of a porous fine globule based on silica through an alkyl chain equal to or higher than an ethyl group. Continuously, 1, 3-propane sultone is reacted with the primary amino group in said polyamine to obtain a sulfonic acid type packing agent for chromatography. Two hydoxyl groups of a diol group 1, a secondary amino group 2 occurring from polyamine, a tertiary amino group 3 and a sulfonic acid group 5 having a primary amino group 4 bonded thereto are present on the surface of a packing agent and a change of holding characteristics due to the adsorption of a hydrophobic substance by a column is reduced. |
