<p>PURPOSE: To increase mechanical strength and easily separate it from the remaining part of an electrically conductive tape by adding an insulating material to an electrically conductive frame. CONSTITUTION: A tape 50 made of the insulating material is fixed to the upper surface of a metallic tape 10 and two insulating tapes 52 and 54 are fixed to the lower surface of the metallic tape 10. Then, one semiconductor chip 56 is fixed to the lower surface of each electrically conductive frame, the drop of an adhesive insulating material is put on, the chip 56 and a conductor 58 are wrapped, the tapes 50, 52 and 54 and a bridge are cut off by a tool and thus, an electronic module 70 is separated from the tape 10. Thus, the need of using a costing printing circuit is eliminated, and since the electrically conductive frame is reinforced by the insulating tape, the electronic module is easily cut off from the metallic tape.</p> |
