PURPOSE:To obtain a porous ceramics having improved strength and controllable pore diameter by mixing two or more ceramic raw materials having different sinterability. CONSTITUTION:The porous ceramics contains two or more ceramic raw materials. One of the materials has different sinterability from the other materials and accounts for 1-99% of the whole ceramic raw materials. The raw material mixture is sintered to obtain the objective porous ceramics. When a substance having high sinterability is added, and pore diameter of the resultant porous ceramics increases proportional to the addition amount of the substance. The sintering temperature and time of a mixture of two or more ceramic materials can be properly determined according to the kind of the ceramic raw materials, the desired pore ratio, etc. Accordingly, a porous ceramics having excellent mechanical strength, proper pore diameter and high adsorptivity to biopolymer can be produced by this process. |
