PURPOSE: To shorten a cycle time by moving a hot mold from a first position to a second and by moving also a cold mold from the second position to a third in the process of inflation of a parison in the hot mold, heating of a vessel in the hot mold and cooling of a vessel blown beforehand in the cold mold. CONSTITUTION: In the process wherein a parison is inflated in a hot mold and in the process wherein a vessel formed beforehand and blown is cooled in a cold mold, a hot mold section 42 and a cold mold section 43 are moved. The hot mold section 42 is moved to a second position occupied beforehand by the cold mold section 43, and the cold mold section 43 is moved to a third position. The pressure in the blown vessel is then lowered. Subsequently, the hot mold section 42 and the cold mold section 43 are opened and returned quickly to the first and second positions respectively in a tuned fashion. |
