The electronic cooking appliance includes a heating assembly, an adjusting assembly mounted adjacent to the heating assembly and provided with ventilation means, as well as a high frequency wave generating assembly. The active elements of the high frequency wave generator 4 are arranged in a lower compartment 21 whereas the cooling means 23 are mounted in an upper compartment 20 of the wave generator assembly 4 so as to provide separate refrigeration of the wave generator.
