摘要 PURPOSE:To increase scanner efficiency and to pick up images of scenes in two different directions by one detector at the same time by picking up images in >=2 directions or different visual fields by using different surfaces of a rotary polygon mirror for the scanning of different pieces of luminous flux. CONSTITUTION:Plural, for example, two afocal lens systems 6 and 6' are combined with the six-surface polygon mirror 1 and arranged so as to use different polygon mirrors, e.g. 1st and 2nd surfaces. Light passed through the afocal lens 6 is reflected by the 1st surface to pass through an optical path 1 and enters the detector 3 through a relay lens 4 and a vibration mirror 2. The time when the signal is made incident on the detector 3 is outputted at the timing of the signal of the incident light passed through the optical path 1. Light passed through the afocal lens 6', on the other hand, enters the detector 3 through an optical path 2 and is outputted at timing different from the signal of the optical path 1. Thus, the scenes in two different directions are picked up by one detector 3 at the same time.
