PURPOSE:To simplify a structure, to effectively clean unfixed toner, to prolong the life of the fixing device, and to improve its reliability by integrally constituting a cleaning part and offset preventing solution applying part and constituting the device so as to be staged. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning member 7b having low density and low roughness of its surface is arranged behind a member 7a having high density and high roughness of its surface, and a cleaning member 7c applied with offset preventing solution behind it. That is, the cleaning member 7a cleans unfixed toner, while the cleaning member 7b cleans fine unfixed toner leaked from the cleaning member 7a. Besides, the cleaning member 7c applies the offset preventing solution to a perfectly cleaned heating roller 1. Thus, the structure of this device is simple and the unfixed toner can be effectively cleaned. The life of the device is prolonged, cost is reduced and its reliability is improved. |
