<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the pattern when a tape carrier speed is changed by setting an object of a rotary speed of a rotary head drum in plural different modes of the tape carrying speed based on tape carrying speed information detected from a tape drive system such as a capstan motor or the like. CONSTITUTION:A speed correction circuit to correct the speed and carrying of a rotary head drum control system and a phase correction circuit 31 are controlled not by a command from a system control circuit 1 but by the drive state of a capstan drive motor 16, that is, a frequency of an G pulse outputted from an FG pulse generator 17. Then the correction to a phase comparator circuit 6 for rotary head drum control and a speed comparator circuit 8 is controlled by the drive of the capstan. Thus, the drive state between the recording medium carrier means and the rotary head drum is synchronized even at a period when the carrier speed of a recording medium reaches the object and the deterioration such as disturbance of synchronization is prevented.</p> |
