<p>PURPOSE:To inhibit the temperature rise of a liquid crystal, and to use the title light source in a wide ambient temperature region by forming a hemispherical-surface reflecting plate of glass and evaporating Al onto the inwall surface of the reflecting plate in the structure of the reflecting plate of the light source for a liquid crystal shutter array head. CONSTITUTION:A light source 1 uses a halogen lamp 7 as a light source, and Al is evaporated onto the inwall surface of a reflecting plate 8 formed to a hemispherical surface shape by glass, through which the light of an infrared wavelength region is transmitted excellently, such as quartz glass. The halogen lamp 7 is positioned at the focus of the reflecting curved surface, and light emitted from the light source is reflected by an Al evaporated film 9 and changed into parallel rays. The characteristics of reflected light 11 are controlled and infrared rays are removed by controlling the thickness, etc. of the al evaporated film 9. That is, since the wavelength of an infrared region transmits the Al evaporated film and passes through the rear side of the reflecting plate, components reflected by the Al reflecting plate are turned into visible ray components approximately, and a factor causing the temperature rise of a liquid crystal shutter array can be removed.</p> |
