The present invention relates to a haymaking machine possessing a chassis which is composed of a central section and of lateral sections articulated together, it being possible to move these latter sections to bring them into a working position in which all the sections are in line, and a transport position in which the lateral sections are folded up. Each articulation between the sections includes a lock for blocking the lateral sections in each of the said positions. The machine according to the invention is noteworthy in that with each lock 21 is associated a stop device 28 which automatically blocks it when it is brought into the unlocked position, this device being automatically neutralised when the corresponding lateral section 4 of the chassis is brought into its other position. <IMAGE>
