PURPOSE:To allow effective cleaning by properly setting the spacing between the inside wall of a desired pipe and the blow tip of a ram in association with the amplitude of the ram and the bore of the pipe inclusive of the thickness of its rust layer. CONSTITUTION:A vibration type cleaner body 1 is excited by rotation of an eccentric revolving shaft 2 and this vibration is transmitted to the ram 3 by which the inside wall of the desired wall is hammered and the rust, etc., are disintegrated and peeled off. This body 1 is inserted form a manhole A side into the pipe and is started by an air motor 14. A winch 30 is then operated and the body 1 is advanced and moved together with the motor 14 by a drawing out rope 6. The spacing between the tip of the ram 3 and the inside wall of the pipe is properly set in association with the amplitude of the ram 3 and the bore of the pipe inclusive of the thickness of its rust layer. The rotating motion at the time of the operation of the body 1 is combined with the vibration of the vibrating body, by which the blow more intensive than the blow intrinsic to the vibrating body is executed and, therefore, the effective cleaning is possible. |
