摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the breaking of a wire by forming electrodes with thicker line width of scanning electrodes and signal electrodes when the electrodes are formed on a color filter layer. CONSTITUTION:When the electrodes are formed on the color filter layer 17, the electrodes with thicker line width are formed of the scanning electrodes 101 and signal electrodes 102. Namely, the line width of the scanning electrodes 101 is much larger than the line width of the signal electrodes 102 at the time of a normal liquid crystal electrooptic device. Then, the color filter layer 117 is formed on a lower substrate 118, an overcoat layer 116 is formed thereupon, and the scanning electrodes 115 are formed further thereupon. Thus, the scanning electrodes 101 which are >=3 times as large in line width as the signal electrodes are formed on the color filter layer to suppress the probability of the breaking of a wire due to a flow, dust, etc., low.
