PURPOSE:To measure the position of a building berth in a short time by providing an automatic tracking light wave range finder combinedly used as a transit and a gyrocompass. CONSTITUTION:The automatic tracking light wave range finder combinedly used as the transit 3 projects laser light on a reflecting mirror 5 by an attached laser light emitting device and photodetects its reflected laser light to grasp the position of the reflected light 5 for automatic tracking, thereby measuring and displaying a horizontal angle, a vertical angle, and a distance which are generated by the movement. Further, the gyrocompass 4 measures an error in the angle to a specific azimuth and converts it into an electric signal to display its numeral. Then a computer 6 stored with a specific calculation expression performs specific calculation based upon data from measuring instruments 3 and 4 to display the current position of the building berth 1 on a graphic display momentarily. |
