The invention relates to a meat-based food product which is ready to eat and which may have a particular taste by virtue of the fact that the meat is not cooked. The product is formed by a homogeneous mixture of salted and smoked meat, preferably beef, and butter. The quantity of butter represents approximately 20% of the weight of the meat. The product is pasty at ambient temperature. Such a product is ready for eating cold, particularly as a spread or as a garnish (topping, filling) for hors d'oeuvres. |
