PURPOSE:To enable image information of a subject to be easily not stained by a method wherein a printer head part is retreated upward so that the subject does not come into contact with an ink ribbon only when the subject is conveyed without being printed. CONSTITUTION:When a signal in which a subject S is not printed is inputted to a motor 30, the motor 30 rotates a gear 30a in the arrow direction. A gear 27 is rotated via a gear 29 and a driving shaft 28, and a printer head base 22 moves in the arrow direction along shafts 21c, 21d of a printer base 21 via a rack 22g fixed to the printed head substrate 22. Therefore, a guide plate 21g is not moved since it is fixed to the printer base 21 as given in the figure 2, and only the printer head base 22 has been moved upward. Then, an ink ribbon 22b is retreated from the subject S to be established at a position out of contact. |
