Lubricating or cooling oil is supplied from a housing (2) to a rotating shaft (1) by means of a sealing device with two sealing surfaces (7) and (8). The housing (2) has an oil supply hole (5) and the shaft (1) has a radial hole (6) positioned between the two sealing surfaces (7, 8). The sealing surfaces are formed by the contact faces of outer sealings (10, 11) fitted in the housing (2), and inner sealing rings (14) and (15) which are mounted on the shaft (1).
