The display unit is turned by an electromotor (9) supplied by a solar cell arrangement (8). The motor revolves a mirror, turntable or moves an advertising face. The solar cell system is arranged inside the housing of the set-up which is at least partly of transparent material. The motor may be either inside or outside the housing, and is pref. a gear motor. A buffer accumulator may be provided to maintain operation of the motor. Different physical forms of the housing, and different lay-outs are described. ADVANTAGE - Mains independent. Sufficient number of solar cells accommodated to supply electromotor irrespective of orientation of unit.
