PURPOSE:To obtain a snack having soft texture by blending dried flakes, such as fruit, or a pulverized substance of dried meats with a seasoning, etc., placing the resultant blend in a baglike paper sheet, dipping the filled blend in water and then thermally reconstituting the substance with microwaves. CONSTITUTION:A seasoning, powdery egg white and vegetable proteins are mixed with flakes obtained by drying fruits or vegetables into the form of flakes or a pulverized substance of dried pork, beef or chicken. The resultant mixture is then placed in a paper sheet formed into a specific baglike shape and water is further added to dip the filled mixture therein and provide a saturation state. The saturated mixture is subsequently reconstituted by heating with microwaves and converted into an integral lump of a specific shape to form an instant snack. Alternatively, the seasoning, etc., are mixed with the flakes prepared by drying fruits or potatoes and the resultant mixture is placed in a baglike material in the form of a potato made from the paper sheet, dipped in water in the same manner as that described above to carry out thermal reconstitution with microwaves. Thereby, an instant formed potato is obtained. |
