Modular elements which have the basic characteristics for a building, which are lightweight and which, without change, can be used to build houses of several storeys in an extremely short space of time. They are composed of essential units and some derived units, which comprise modules for walls, modules for openings, modules for load- bearing pillars, environment circulators and adapters for different thicknesses of wall, in addition to modules for beams, all of which are provided with male/female means for mutual engagement on at least one, depending on the case, of their respective faces. <IMAGE>
