PURPOSE:To grease a yarn without removing a cover or lid by arranging a main pipe, metering valve, branched pipe, etc., in a flyer and bobbin rail and operating a greasing pump connected to the main pipe based on a greasing- signal during low-speed operation of a roving machine. CONSTITUTION:A main pipe, a metering valve and a branched pipe of a greaser are arranged in a flyer rail 10 and bobbin rail 20 of a roving machine and the main pipe is connected to a greasing pump 41, which is operated on a greasing signal from a control means 45 during low-speed operation of the roving machine. A grease in a prescribed amount is fed through the main pipe, metering valve and branched pipe to parts of driving gears 17 and 26. |
