PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of the display characteristics by placing 2 substrates each provided with an electrode opposite to each other with a gap in-between, sealing the peripheries except the liq. crystal injecting hole, injecting a liq. crystal into the gap, and sealing the injecting hole with a specified blended resin. CONSTITUTION:A blended resin 5 for sealing is prepared by adding 40-60pts.wt. bisspirodiamine as a curing agent to 100pts.wt. diglycidyl ether bisphenol F type epoxy resin. Oriented glass substrates 1, 2 each provided with a transparent electrode are stuck together except the liq. crystal injecting hole 4 with a resin sealant 3, and the sealing resin is cured by heating to form a cell. After injecting a liq. crystal material 6 from the hole 4, said blended resin 5 is mixed and applied to the hole 4 by means of 3 rolls, and it is allowed to stand at 25 deg.C for 48hr to cause curing. Thus, a liq. crystal display element is completed. |
