Machine which comprises a metering-out vessel with a rotary base and with passage apertures which are closed by a fixed plate placed against the base of the vessel in the lower part, which plate has a passage window for the fruit. The base of the vessel slopes and has, fixed at the bottom, a hopper underneath each set of openings corresponding to the number of fruit to be supplied. The machine also includes a device for supplying cans which are displaced on a track which passes under the base of the vessel, along a portion which runs parallel to said base, describing a curved path coincident with that described by the hoppers in the immediate vicinity of the window of the plate placed against the base of the vessel. Inside the vessel there is a mechanism for expelling the fruit. <IMAGE>
