<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of uranium and plutonium to improve clarification efficiency in the case where the machine is used in a fuel preprocessing plant by properly selecting and combining an inclination of an insoluble residue drain hole and rotating speed during operation. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 6 separating a shield wall 1 and connected to a rotary shaft 5is rotated to drive by a driving device. The rotor 6 centrifugally removes solid particles from a solution containing the solid particles to separate solid and liquid. Further, since the solid particles deposited in the inner face of the rotor 6 are washed by a washing nozzle 11, washing liquid is jetted from nozzle pieces 11a attached to the washing nozzle 11. The solid particles are drained through the insoluble residue drain holes 22. Clarified liquid centrifugally separated is drained out of the rotor 6 through clarified liquid drain holes 12 provided on an upper end plate 7. The clarified liquid is received from a guide plate 15 and passes a vessel 14 to flow out from a clarified liquid drain pipe 18 to next process.</p> |
