PURPOSE:To cope with load fluctuations, such as in the heat-to-power ratio, extensively by introducing endothermic and exothermic processes based on chemical reactions and storing chemical endothermic fuel. CONSTITUTION:In a composite power generation plant, since fuel (a) is burned only in heat source equipment 10 for gas turbines, and the like, fuel (a) is supplied by the amount corresponding to the load of the heat source equipment. On the other hand, chemical endothermic fuel obtained from a chemical endothermic reactor 7 is stored in a fuel reserver 13, which, when heat load requirement therefore arises, is supplied to a chemical exothermic reactor 9 for the extraction of thermal energy. Hence, the fluctuation of the heat load can be coped with extensively. |
