METHOD FOR WINDING YARN OF PRESCRIBED LENGTH IN DOUBLE TWISTER

PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of feed yarn package exchange by cutting a yarn every time a prescribed length of the yarn is wound by a winder, further lap winding a yarn on the abovementioned package and mounting the resultant feed yarn package on a double twister. CONSTITUTION:A yarn is cut every time a prescribed length thereof is wound by a winder and a yarn is further lap wound on the above-mentioned package to form the maximum feed yarn package 1 mountable on a double twister. The resultant feed yarn package 1 is then mounted on the double twister to form plural wound packages 10 having a prescribed yarn length from the one feed yarn package.
