PURPOSE:To obtain a tire excellent in adhesion of the reinforcing layer with rubber under high temperature conditions by reinforcing a tire with a cord layer prepared by arranging cords composed of filaments with a skin-core structure consisting of the core part of a polyester and the skin part of nylon. CONSTITUTION:Several scores or several hundred organic fiber filaments 10 composed of a polyester core part and a nylon skin part 12 are collected and formed into a cord. The prepared cords are arranged and buried in a rubber layer and the resultant cord layer is applied for a reinforcing layer for a tire. A reinforcing layer having elastic modulus, strength, etc., of a polyester cord and adhesion of a nylon cord is obtained. |
