<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the uniform color filter by forming a light shield film by using metallic films formed selectively on a transparent electrode as a mask, removing some of the metallic films by etching, and utilizing the remaining metallic films as terminals for electrodeposition. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of the patterned transparent electrodes 2 are plated selectively to form the metallic films, photosensitive resin 4 is applied by using a spinner, and back surface exposure, development and rinsing are carried out to form the light shield films 4 between the transparent electrodes 3 where the metallic films 3 are formed. Negative resist is applied on a substrate 1 including the light shield films 4, exposure, development, and rinsing are carried out by using a mask where the parts of terminals 3' for electrodeposition are shielded from light to obtain etching resist as plating on the terminals 3' for electrodeposition, and the exposed plating part except the terminals 3' for electrodeposition is etched. Then the etching resist is peeled off, and cleaning and drying are carried out to perform the electrodeposition. Conductive rubber 7 is pressed as a fed material to form color filters 8-10 on the transparent electrodes. Consequently, the uniform color filters are obtained and a color liquid crystal panel of high quality is manufactured at high yield.</p> |
