<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title ink which lowly abrades the type face of the printing part of an impact printer and can give a high-quality print by using iron oxide as a component of the ink. CONSTITUTION:This ink ribbon ink for a printer contains iron oxide as a component. Because this ink contains iron oxide as the principal component of colorant, the hardness is lower than that of the printing part and the wear of the printing part is very small; and because iron oxide as the colorant can deform, the wear of the printing part is further decreased, and the life of the printing part can be prolonged, and it can give clear prints for a long time without causing lowered printing quality such as uneven printing and blurred printing. The mean particle diameter of the iron oxide used is desibrably 30-250Angstrom . Because this is much smaller than that of usual ferrite, the blackness is high. Its amount of use is desirably 5-20%.</p> |
