PURPOSE:To obtain the subject cord excellent in adhesion with rubber and compression fatigue resistance by arranging a filament yarn of an aromatic polyamide fiber, rayon spun yarns, etc., in the longitudinal direction, carrying out first twist and then twisting plural number thereof for formation of a cord- like material. CONSTITUTION:A yarn filament of an aromatic polyamide fiber and one or more rayon spun yarns or cotton spun yarns are arranged in the longitudinal direction and subjected to first twist and the resultant plural first-twisted yarns are twisted into a cord state to obtain the objective cord. In addition the ratio (d/D) of the total denyl (d) of the rayon spun yarns and the cotton spun yarns to the total denyl (D) of the cord is preferably (1/20)-(1/2). |
