PURPOSE:To provide simultaneously oil repellency and water repellency as well as flexibility, durability, adhesiveness, dispersion stability, etc., by graft- polymerizing a fluorinated monomer onto an olefin (co)polymer. CONSTITUTION:A fluorinated graft copolymer with a particle diameter of 1-5mum is obtd. by graft-polymerizing 50-1wt.% fluorinated monomer [e.g., fluoroalkyl (meth)acrylate] onto 50-99wt.% olefin (co)polymer such as PE, PP or ethylene- propylene copolymer, if necessary, in a non-aqueous solvent (e.g., kerosine) in the presence of a polymn. catalyst (e.g., azobisisobutyronitrile). |
