Multi-purpose clothes rail

The multi-purpose clothes rail consists of a bar which is provided with holes and has two gripping ends which are attached to this perforated bar so obliquely that when both gripping ends are hung on a clothes rail the multi-purpose clothes rail hangs parallel to the clothes rail and when a gripping end is taken off it hangs approximately perpendicularly thereto. In this arrangement, the holes are used to hang up equipped clothes hangers or after insertion of in each case a V-shaped bar, these bars can accommodate trousers. The gripping ends possess internally a groove which is parallel to the perforated bar and is intended for the secure hanging of the multi-purpose clothes rail on a washing line, a transporting handle being additionally attached to the perforated bar. The gripping ends can each possess a single hook, or a double hook capable of being broken off, for hanging the multi-purpose clothes rail on a door, both with an edge projecting at the top and with a smooth upper surface. The gripping ends can also be equipped with a catch bolt in each case, onto which in each case a pivotable hook part can be placed, with three hooks for hanging on any door upper edges.
