Self-closing container closure

A self-closing closure (10) for containers (12) which are intended for receiving liquid or cream-like or gel-like contents, and out of which the contents can be squeezed in a metered manner by changing the container filling volume. The closure (10) has a first hollow closure part (16) which is arranged above the container delivery opening and whose hollow space is connected to the container interior, and which has a hollow-cylindrical projection (30) which is closed by an end wall (32) on the side opposite the container delivery opening and whose cylindrical circumferential wall (34) is penetrated by at least one passage opening (36). Arranged on the cylindrical outer surface of the circumferential wall (34) of the projection (30) with prestress is a closure part (18) which is hollow-cylindrical at least in sections and is made of a rubber-elastic expandable material which has an outlet aperture for the container contents on its end face facing away from the container. A covering cap (20) can be arranged additionally on the first closure part (16), which covering cap engages over the container closure (10) essentially over its entire height in the proper attachment position. <IMAGE>
