A rake and scarifier suitable especially also for use under water is described. It consists of a bow in the form of an angle piece, the legs of which are arranged at an obtuse angle to one another. The free ends of the legs are connected to one another by means of a rake part, and a handle can be fastened in an extension at the vertex of the bow. The rake part consists of a roller, the end pieces of which are inserted rotatably in the free ends of the legs of the bow. Rows of tines or claws are arranged on the circumference over the length of the roller.
