The mounting is for an extended radiator (1) with horizontal lamellae, esp. an oil radiator. The radiator is secured to the vehicle chassis (7) using arms (10) fixed at both ends and extending upwards in a swinglike manner. The length (a) of the arms is at least 1.5 times as large as the width of the radiator in the vehicle longitudinal direction, with hoses extending oppositely to the direction of travel of the vehicle. USE/ADVANTAGE - The transmission of body noise from the radiator to the vehicle chassis is largely avoided, yet the radiator is prevented from tilting over.
