The spring 14 which pushes the shaft 2 of the obturator 3 towards one of the possible positions thereof is located in a chamber 23 sealed against the fluid distributed by the valve. The knob 26 has a helical cam 28 which compliments a similar cam 24 provided on the end of the guide 1 in order to stabilize the position of the obturator 3 counter to the tension of the spring 14. The spring 14 is protected against the action of the fluid distributed by the valve. The position of the obturator 3 on which the spring 14 is compressed may be stabilized even when the pressure of the fluid supplied is less than the force of the aforesaid spring. <IMAGE>
