PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity and the reproducibility of red originals, by using specific disazo pigments as an electric charge generating agent. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic receptor wherein an adhesive layer contg. casein or polyvinyl alcohol is provided on a conductive layer and a layer contg. the disazo pigments expressed by the general formula (1) (A is halogen atoms, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group. B is the group derived from couplers) is provided thereon. The pigments dispersed in insulating binders and the pigments dispersed in electic charge transport media are equally effective. More particularly, the charge generating layer contg. the pigments and laminated thereon with the charge transport layer is effective. The adhesive layer is provided to 0.5-5mu thickness, and <=5mu pigment particles are used. The charge generating layer is provided to <=3mu thickness. |
