<p>PURPOSE:To absorb energy and to prevent fire by sandwiching meshed aramid fibers, in place of primary disaster-preventive layer, between rubber sheets through spacers and gaps between primary and secondary disaster-preventive layers. CONSTITUTION:A metal tape 3 is arranged around a power cable through cable spacers 2a and two robber sheets 4 sandwiching Kebler fiber mesh 5 are arranged at second layer while disaster-preventive rubber sheets 6, 7 are arranged at third and fourth layers and spacers 2b are arranged between respective layers, then the seam between the first and second layers is stopped with adhesive while the third and fourth layers are sealed with adhesive. When a breaking point is produced in the power cable 1, grounding energy is absorbed by the metal tape 3. When the metal tape 3 is broken, the power cable 1 is protected through the second layer where Kebler fiber mesh 5 is sandwiched between the rubber sheets 4 and when the second layer is broken, the power cable 1 is protected through the third and fourth layers.</p> |
