PURPOSE:In the open-end spinning using a hollow rotor, the tension given to the yarn under twisting is varied between the hollow rotor and the delivery rollers to produce the titled yarn having a charm as a yarn for weaving. CONSTITUTION:A fiber bundle 1 such as sliver is fed by means of feed rollers 2, 2' unbundled in the device 3, bundled again by the negative pressure on the bundling surface 5 in the hollow rotor 4, which is caused by the rotation of the hollow rotor 4, then the resultant fiber bundle is taken out through pipe 6 and the delivery rollers 8, 8'. Simultaneously, the fiber bundle is twisted by the rotation of the hollow rotor 4 into a yarn 9, which is wound up into a cheese or cone 11. At this time, the yarn guide 12 is reciprocated by the air cylinder 14 to vary the yarn tension to produce the objective yarn. |
