摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight and highly efficient solar cell possessed of an antistatic function by a method wherein a surface electrode and an insulating reflection preventive film are provided onto an n layer of an n-p type InP solar cell, and a conductive film formed thereon and the surface electrode are electrically connected with each other. CONSTITUTION:An n-type layer 15 is formed on a p-type InP substrate 14, a surface cathode 17 composed of two layers of Pd and Ag is formed thereon in a comblike shape, and an anode 16 is formed on the whole rear side of the substrate 14. An insulating reflection preventive film 18 is provided onto the whole face of the layer 15, and an ITO film 19 is formed thereon as a conductive film. The film 19 is electrically connected with the electrode 17 as being in contact with the side face of the electrode 17, so that electrons accumulated at the conductive film 19 formed on the outermost face of the electrode 17 can be removed through the electrode 1. And, as an InP cell is excellent in radiation resistance and dispenses with a cover glass, the reflection loss and the absorption loss due to a glass and a bonding agent can be eliminated. By this setup, a lightweight and highly efficient solar cell possessed of an antistatic function can be obtained at a low cost.
