PURPOSE:To obtain the title abrasive stone which is large in wear resistance and has a uniform structure by adding water to the kneaded material of silica sand and glass frit and mixing the mixture and furthermore adding carboxymethyl cellulose and sufficiently mixing this mixture, drying and calcining it. CONSTITUTION:After 5-30 pts.wt. glass frit is added to 100 pts.wt. silica sand and the mixture is kneaded, 15-40 pts.wt. water is added and mixed. Then 2-10 pts.wt. CMC is added to the mixture and after this mixture is mixed until toughness is sufficiently caused, it is pressurized and molded. This molded material is dried and thereafter calcined at 900-980 deg.C to obtain abrasive for jeans washing. Further as a washing method, both the above-mentioned porous abrasive and a bleaching agent aq. soln. are introduced into a freely rotatable tank and the porous abrasive is sufficiently impregnated with the bleaching agent aq. soln. Then the residual bleaching agent aq. soln. is discharged and thereafter an absorbent of the bleaching agent is distributed. Then the colored jeans are introduced into the tank and this tank is rotated on its axis and thereafter the jeans are taken out, washed with water and neutralized. |
