PURPOSE:To efficiently remove a malodorous component even when said component is an oxidative or reductive substance and to hold deodorizing capacity for a long time by using a conductive high-molecular substance as a deodorizing component. CONSTITUTION:As a conductive high-molecular substance used in a deodorizing material, there are polyacetylene, polyanilin, derivatives of these substances, a monomer and a copolymer. Then, said substance is formed into a granular shape, a powdery shape or, especially, a fibril shape having a large specific surface area and low in suction resistance in order to obtain high deodorizing capacity. Since this conductive high-molecular substance has oxidizing and reducing capacities at the same time, not only a malodorous component composed of an oxidative substance but also a malodorous component composed of a reductive substance are removed in an extremely efficient manner and stable deodorizing capacity is kept for a long time. |
