摘要 PURPOSE:To automatically correct a flaw detection sensitivity variation corresponding to an incident angle variation by calculating an incident angle variation which follows eccentricity of a pipe to be inspected and an angle parameter, calculating a beam path in a material to be inspected, and correcting automatically an origin and width of a gate and a DAC. CONSTITUTION:An output of a transmitting signal transmitter of a probe rotary type pipe ultrasonic flaw detector and an output of a composite probe receiving probe are inputted to a surface position variation calculating means through an underwater propagation distance calculating means, and these outputs and an output of a rotation angle detecting means are inputted to an eccentric quantity calculating means. Subsequently, the eccentric quantity calculated therein and the rotation angle are inputted to an angle parameter calculating means and an incident angle calculating means, and from these outputs, a beam path is calculated by a beam path calculating means. In such a way, an origin and width of a gate and a DAC are corrected automatically, a flaw detection sensitivity variation corresponding to an incident angle variation can be corrected automatically, and it can be attained to execute precisely a flaw detection with high reliability.
