<p>PURPOSE:To freely constitute the size of a packet so as to transmit it by preparing a packet header including position information of transfer destination in a packet reception buffer and information on the size of a divided packet, and adding the header to the divided packet. CONSTITUTION:One long packet A received from a reception line 6 is inputted to a packet reception function block 1 and is stored in the packet reception buffer 2 in the form of a code B. A packet header editing function block 3 designates position information on the position to which the packet header is added and the size of the packet to be transmitted as information in the header with respect to the packet stored in the packet reception buffer 2. With the designation, the size of the packet to be transmitted can freely be controlled. The packet header part including such information is transmitted to s packet header addition function block 4.</p> |
