A charging device for a blast furnace in which the outlet openings of bowls (4, 8) consecutively located along the mix path are covered by shutters (6, 9) provided with a conical side surface and mounted with the possibility of reciprocating movements. The shutter (9) covering the lower bowl (8) is shaped as a truncated hollow cone in the upper part of which is mounted a hopper (10) oriented by its narrowing part towards the cavity of the truncated cone. The hopper is provided with profiled openings, spread over the entire surface of its walls, and with a screen (11) shaped as a hollow truncated cone adjoining by its smaller base the lower edge of the hopper. |
