PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of the results of measurement with the immunoassay using fluorophotometry by stopping dispensing of a sample when the measured value of the fluorescent intensity of a fluorescent standard sample is smaller than a set value. CONSTITUTION:The sample is dispensed from a sample vessel 11 on a sample disk 8 into a reaction vessel 2 on a reaction disk 1. Beads coated with the antibodies corresponding to analysis items are previously put into the reaction vessel 2. The beads after the reaction are washed with a washing device 25 and thereafter, a fluorescence developable reagent is dispensed from a reagent vessel 12 into the sample and the sample is subjected to photometry by a fluorophotometer 19. The lower limit for deciding the performance of an optical system is previously stored prior to execution of the analysis and the fluorescent standard sample such as quinine sulfate is dispensed into the reaction vessel. The dispensing operation is stopped and the checking of the optical system is executed when the measured value of the standard sample is smaller than the previously stored set value. |
