PURPOSE:To enable reliable sealing to a bead part with as few as possible backplates, by a method wherein a bead part sealing member constituted of a plurality of large-sized and small-sized backplates is arranged on the inward of guide boards each arranged at the of center each split mold. CONSTITUTION:A bead part sealing member 32 constituted of a large-sized and small-sized backplates 9, 10 to be arranged on the inward of a top and bottom guide boards 21 each is comprised of the large-sized and small-sized backplates 9, 10 which are respectively in a stage of a long circular arc based on a circular arc 9a and the linear base 9b and almost a state of a trapezoidal circular arc comprised of both concentric outer inner circular arcs 10a, 10b and linear sides 10c, 10c obtained by connecting both ends each of the circular arcs 10a, 10b by making use of elements such as the circular arcs 9a, 10a, 10b and linear base 9b obtained by dividing the circumference whose diameter is made into a contracted diameter than that at a bead part 33a of a green tire 33 into five equal parts. The diameters of the backplates 9, 10 each lying at positions of contracted diameters are moved forward and expanded all at once in a radial direction through metal fittings 11. With this construction, the large-sized backplates 9, 9 each and small-sized backplate 10 are joined among one another by interposing the backplate 10 between the backplates 9, 9 by moving forward, which is formed into a state of a series of an annulus 32c having a width covering sufficiently the whole circumferential surface of the bead part 33a and faces positively on the bead parts 33a, 33a. Therefore, those annulie 32c are press-contacted onto the bead part 33a and sealed up tightly and strongly. |
