PURPOSE:To perform the averaging processing for each picture element of a TV signal by reading out the reciprocal of the number of times of accumulation by a reciprocal converter and multiplying accumulated data by this reciprocal to perform the averaging processing. CONSTITUTION:When an AD converter 1 outputs picture element data, an address counter 3C reads out the address of a memory 3B and inputs read picture element data to an adder 3A and adds picture element data inputted from the converter 1. When one-picture components of picture element data are written in the memory 3B in this manner, the counter 3C returns to the start address again, and read, addition, and rewrite are executed again from the start address, and picture element data is accumulated. Accumulated data of an accumulator 3 is inputted to a multiplier 5 through a selector 4. The reciprocal of the number of times of accumulation of the accumulator 3 is given to the multiplier 5 from a reciprocal converter 6, and accumulated data is multiplied by the reciprocal of the number of times of accumulation to calculate an average value of accumulated data. Consequently, the averaging processing is performed for each picture element of the TV signal. |
