PURPOSE:To obtain a printer capable of being assembled with favorable operability and having excellent maintainability and high reliability by a construction wherein line form elastic bodies for holding a sensor board therebetween are detachably fitted in slide grooves of a casing. CONSTITUTION:To insert a sensor board 11 into slide grooves 2a, 2b of a casing 2 of a printer, the board 11 is directed diagonally as shown in figure (a), is rotated in the direction of an arrow I II, and is fitted into the slide grooves 2a, 2b. Next, as shown in figure (b), an arm part 12a of a U-shaped line form elastic member 12 is fitted into the slide groove 2a of the casing 2, the member 12 is pressed against a side face 11a of the sensor board 11, and the other arm part 12b is inserted into the slide groove 2b on the other side. Then, as shown in figure (c), another line form elastic member 12 is fitted in the same manner as in figure (b), whereby the sensor board 11 is held by the pair of U-shaped line form elastic members 12 from both sides thereof. Thus, a printer can be provided which is excellent in operability at the time of fitting the sensor substrate, in disposal of a paper trouble, and in maintainability. |
