PURPOSE:To obtain a good-quality copied image in a low-density image forming part by subjecting the electrophotographic sensitive body to heat treatment in stages except in a film forming stage. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 2 is laminated on a conductive base 1 and a charge implantation blocking layer 3 is provided as desired thereon. A protective layer 4 dispersed with the powder of a metal or metal oxide is provided thereon. This electrophotographic sensitive body is then subjected to the heat treatment then to slow cooling. The heating treatment may be executed by using any means and the heat treatment temp. is preferably set in a 80 to 170 deg.C range. The copied image uniform over the entire surface of the photosensitive body is obtd. in this way and the good-quality copied image is obtd. even in the high-density image part and the low-density image part. |
