摘要 The present invention relates to a hydrostatic drive and steering system for an articulated vehicle, which in the leading unit 1 of the vehicle has a drive motor 2, which drives two identical hydraulic pumps, individually adjustable with regard to the direction and rate of flow, of which the first pump 3 drives the hydraulic motor 7 of the front right-hand caterpillar track 8 and the second pump 4 drives the hydraulic motor 11 of the front left- hand caterpillar track 12. The control elements 3a, 4a of the two hydraulic pumps 3, 4 are coupled to one and the same operating control lever 13, which is rotatable and can be moved forwards and backwards. The invention is characterized in that the drive and steering system also comprises a third adjustable hydraulic pump 14, identical to the two other pumps 3, 4 and designed to be driven at exactly the same speed of rotation as them, the control element 14a for the third hydraulic pump 14 being connected to the operating control level 13, so that it is only influenced by forward and backward movements of the operating control lever 13. The third hydraulic pump 14 forms part of a closed hydraulic circuit 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 comprising two hydraulic motors 17, 20 coupled in parallel with one another, which each drive the caterpillar track 23, 24 on its respective side of the rear vehicle unit 25. The latter hydraulic motors 17, 20 need exactly half the volumetric quantity of oil required by the hydraulic motors 7, 11 of the front vehicle unit 1 in order to turn one revolution. <IMAGE>
